Estate Planning to Protect Your Family

Massachusetts Estate Planning Attorney

You have worked hard to build your wealth and protect your family. Meeting with an experienced lawyer to prepare an estate plan allows you to decide where your assets will go upon your death. Planning ahead will save your family from experiencing unnecessary stress and help ensure they are taken care of when you cannot be there to look after them.

At my law office, Davis & Welch PC, I work closely with clients to prepare the documents necessary to protect your assets and your loved ones. To schedule your free initial consultation and start to put my experience to work for you, contact me online or call 781-246-3950.

Protect Your Assets

I understand each client's situation is unique and I take the time to learn about each person's priorities so that I can tailor a plan that addresses each person's concerns. I assist with all areas of estate planning, including:

  • Wills: A will allows you to determine where your assets will go upon your death. It also provides directions regarding who will take care of your children.
  • Trusts: Trusts are usually used to set money aside to take care of incidental needs of children and incapacitated or incapable adults. Trusts preserve and protect the assets for the benefit of the family.
  • Health care proxy and powers of attorney: Both part of the estate plan, these documents determine who will be responsible for decisions regarding your health and finances if you are unable to do so.

Putting together an estate plan does not need to be a scary process. I work closely with my clients to take the fear out of the system by carefully explaining each option. To schedule your free initial consultation with an experienced attorney, contact me online or call 781-246-3950.
